CORONAVIRUS UPDATE
Dear Patients of South Suburban Family Dental Center,
First, thank you for your patience, we appreciate the trust you have placed in us as your dental health care provider.
To ensure the safety of our patients, communities, and dental team members, the Illinois State Dental Society (ISDS) recommends all dental offices follow the measures below. These recommendations align with Gov. Pritzker’s mandates to limit the spread of COVID-19.
We have decided to close our office starting today Monday March 16th until April 30th.
· Treat only patients requiring emergency dental procedures
· Postpone elective dental treatment and procedures
· Preserve personal protective equipment for emergency dental situations. This action will also preserve the limited supply of PPE so it can be used for urgent and more complex medical care that will be needed in our healthcare system.
· Communicate the utmost importance of health and safety of our patients, the dental team and our community in implementing these measures.
This week has been a very unusual and unnerving week as we try to figure out what is the best way to navigate the spread of the Novel Coronavirus and the increasing incidence of COVID-19.
We will be placing all patients on a reschedule list, and will be available for emergencies on a limited basis.
This is not a decision taken lightly and we expect updates and additional information moving forward. Our hearts are with those near and far who are being affected by the Coronavirus pandemic.
Our staff will be reaching out to everyone individually through text, phone, and email as needed.
Thank you to all,
Dr. Mark Anderson & Dr. Matt Yurchak
Stay Healthy!
